We continue our routine.  The weather is gradually getting better so swimming is back on the daily activities along with walking and biking.  Barb seems to have a special assignment for the local QOV group.  She cuts of fabric and makes quilt block kits which are sent to quilters to sew the fabric back together.  Then if they don’t make the quilt tops, the blocks come back to Barb and she sews the blocks into quilt tops.  She also does the sandwiching of quilts.  She cuts backing and batting and then pins quilts for quilters.  She doesn’t do much quilting, but has done a couple this year.  That takes a lot of time and with lots of quilters sending in tops, she spends a lot of time cutting and sandwiching.  The picture is a quilt that came in blocks (not all blocks were done and some were not done to size).  Barb ripped seams, resewed the top and got the quilt ready for a quilter.
Dave is starting to think Boat!  He is busy reviewing some new electronic equipment.  February went by really fast with all the activities.  We still are sticking close to home, except Barb is venturing out for quilt guild events.

Started the New Year by storing Christmas decorations.  Barb continues to quilt for Quilt of Valor local group and not so much for herself.  After much back pain from bending while pinning quilts on the floor, Dave helped figure out a stretcher system for the cutting table so that sandwiching quilts (pinning the three layers together) was easier.  It works great!  If you look closely in the background you can see another quilting project that is getting done.  Barb is appliqueing an ABC book for our Great Grandnephew.  We continue our daily routine, except no swimming.  The weather here is chilly this month.
